Club Ranking

The Rules

New Players

New players may challenge anyone in the ranking. If they win they earn the place of their opponent's place with the opponent losing 1 rank, if they lose they will be ranked last player but may begin challenging other players immediately. So decide wisely who to challenge when entering the ranking for the first time!

Existing Players

As simple as it is it is probably still best explained using an example ranking like this one containg players me, you, her and him.

1. Me
2. You 3. Her
4. Him
example ranking

To guarantee that number one doesn't get too busy playing against all the other players we use a hierarchic ranking where every player can challenge anyone left of him / her and in the row above him to his right. When the challenger wins he or she earns the challenged player's rank while the losing player loses one rank. If the challenger loses the ranking remains unchanged. The next challenge may then only take place at least one weak after the first challenge.

In this case there are the following possibilities:

Note: The current ranking table will be available at each training session and ranking matches can be played on each training session if you'd like. Players who do not appear to the training (without resonable excuse) three times in a row while being challenged by another player and after being informed will be deleted from the ranking for fairness reasons. They may re-enter the ranking whenever they reappear...
